Andrew is at heart a general practitioner with broad interests in many aspects of healthcare, but he has particular expertise and specialist training in Minor Surgery, Men and Women’s Fertility Planning, Musculoskeletal Medicine and Endocrinology in Primary Care.
Andrew is currently one of, if not the only, GP in Northern Ireland using Point of Care Ultrasound techniques for routine Primary Care work in practice. He enjoys his role as an accredited GP Trainer and Medical Student educator, and he is also a trainer in Minor Surgical and Joint Injection techniques. He has been performing Minor Surgery and Corticosteroid injections in practice for over 13 years.
Andrew is fully indemnified by the MDDUS.
Dr Cupples is unable to see patients registered at Meadowbridge Surgery because of GMS contractual obligations.
