What We Treat
• Back and neck pain – disc issues, sciatica, whiplash, spinal stiffness
• Neural pain – non-trauma related upper body, back, lower body pain
• Headaches – cluster, referred from neck, migraines
• Sports and soft tissue injuries – strains, sprains
• Pre and post-operative care and advice – prior to hip or knee replacements, ligament reconstruction and tendon repairs
• Post-fracture rehabilitation – following fractured wrist, arm, leg
• Joint conditions – frozen shoulder, swelling, general stiffness

Sports massage is beneficial to those at all levels of activity, it is not solely for sportspersons. It is particularly useful in the management and prevention of injury and our everyday aches and pains (Shoulders, Back, Glutes, Legs, Knees, Etc)
Each session will include a consultation, and whilst aiming to provide as much relief as possible in one session, follow up appointments may be beneficial in locating the route of the problem and/or preventing re-injury.

For the first initial session please select a 1 hr 15 treatment. to allow time for consultation, medical form discussion and treatment.

Karen Parker Holistic Therapies

Gillian graduated in 1995 from Queens University Belfast with an Honours degree in Biomedical sciences and Podiatry. After qualifying she began a long career in the Northern Trust. Special interest included complex high risk patients, wounds, nail surgery, care of the elderly and special needs. She strives to provide high quality care and developing a rapport with her patients. Nicola qualified in 2009 as a practicing podiatrist and graduated from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh 2010. Nicola then completed her Masters in Podiatry long distance from Queen Margaret University. Since graduating Nicola has had experience working in both Northern Ireland, Scotland and San Francisco, CA. She spent 10 years working part time in childcare with has been very useful when treating children in the clinic.

In 2011 Nicola started Activefeet as a home visit service before setting up the clinic in a small room on the Doagh road in 2013. In 2015 Activefeet was moved to our current location in Monkstown and the clinic has welcomed alot of new and wonderful staff since then.

Nicola has a wonderfully supportive husband Andrew, two beautiful daughters Katie and Hannah and a rascal baby boy Luke who all keep her very busy.

Kathy graduated with BSc (Hons) physiotherapy from Ulster University in 2014 with first class honours. She has a special interest in back pain and has practiced privately since 2014.
